On a typical Sunday evening Dale comes home and brief us on the word and the blessings he received that morning. He starts naming attendees for service. He says, Oh Deacon so and so, Brother so and so, Sister so and so….and a couple of others. In total, there may have been about ten people who attended the service, by Dale’s account. His grandmother says “oh my Dale, that’s a really low turn out.” Dale looks at her, then looks at me, then turns back to her and says “oh no, no no no Grandma, FOR WHERE TWO OR THREE GATHER TOGETHER IN MY NAME, THERE AM I WITH THEM.” Matthews 18:20

I said “AMEN” and his grandmother said “AMEN, I’m done, there is nothing I can follow with that, I’m happy you enjoyed service. ????
