This actually happened a couple of weekends ago, but an article about it just came out yesterday. If you haven’t read it already, take a trip to my welcome page and click the link to an article in the Potomac Almanac that featured my beloved Dale.
What is amazing to me is how well he captured the essence of that program and the world. What fascinates me is if you go back to the beginning of the article where they say how he was at the face painting table. Yes, he was, for about a good hour and was beyond happy.
Just seconds after giving such a profound interview with such great insight, he walks away in pure excitement because he’s next up to get a painting on his forearm. I just gazed in amazement at how fascinating the mind is, he gave what seems to be the simplest resolution to the worlds troubled ways and celebrates with several water painting on his arm, which I still have paint all over my headrest in the car from, sorry, I digress.
The same young man who is cable of putting the most complex matters in to perspective still wants to wait in the long line with the young kids and get his face/arm painted with the same level of excitement as my Goddaughter who is five, just absolutely mind blowing at times.
